It's rare that you actually see AA couples like this in the media. The women are usually portrayed as hood rats and the men... ugh.

Hell, for my money, they give ALL couples a good name :D They're clearly equals in their relationship, neither is subserviant to the other. They're both full of wit and class.

You never get the feeling that theirs is a political marriage, or that they're faking their affection.

And Michelle, in her own right, is a role model.

I agree. I mostly cringe whenever i see political (and sometimes regular) couples because they seem so forced (why I have to be here with this motherfucker here?) They just seem so natural together. They are too cute.
